DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH INTERN – SPRING 2025
Position Summary:
Save The Music Foundation is looking for a Research Intern who will work closely with the development team and will be primarily responsible for prospective donor research. The intern will cover in-depth research projects covering a variety of geographic regions, generating results that will assist with the development team’s growth and help expand their reach to foundations, corporations, and individuals. Project scopes will vary in size & specificity; a sample research project might be compiling a list of corporations headquartered in Los Angeles whose philanthropic funding priorities include music or arts education. By the end of this internship, the intern will have gained insight into the non-profit fundraising process as well as valuable professional work experience and skills.
Requirements:
- Based in New York City & able to report in-person to our NYC office
- Rising college sophomore, junior, or senior
- Thorough research skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Passion for music education
Additional Information:
- This position will work out of our NYC office on Mondays and/or Tuesdays.
- This is a paid internship of $16.50 / hour.
- Start date is mid to late March.
- Part-time: 10 weeks, 10 hours per week
