Setting up your podcast rig
This is what the podcasting station, or podcast rig, will look like once it is set up.
You will need a microphone, interface, and headphones. Check out the Univeral Audio Volt 2 Studio Pack for podcasting.
Left to right: Microphone, interface, laptop with the adaptor.
Set up your interface by plugging it into a power source.
Connect the interface to the computer with the USB-C cable.
Connect the USB to the adaptor.
Connect the microphone to the interface by using an XLR cable.
Plug it into the microhpone and then into an input on the interface.
Plug the headphones into the interface.
In your DAW (Digital Audio Workspace), go to sound preferences and select the appropriate interface as your input and output. Check the levels and record!
